MyBoro Privacy Policy
MyBoro is committed to safeguarding your privacy. The information you provide to become a member is not sold or disclosed to anybody. Below is a brief summary of the main information collected and how it is used:
- E-Mail addresses are not published on the site or passed to any third parties. Your E-Mail address is used for the following purposes by the site:
- To issue your password when joining.
- To issue a new password when requested by you.
- To notify you if needed where your article has breeched the terms of use above.
- To get members opinions on proposed changes to the site, as suggested by members.
- Your Name/Nickname : Your name is shown as the source of anything you add to the site, unless you have specified an optional nickname in which case this is displayed.
- Your Location : This is for information only and not disclosed for individuals. Once membership grows sufficiently this will be used in summary form only, showing a breakdown of where members are located.
Information collected is the minimum needed to ensure that additions to the site by members can be sourced (for breaches in terms). The only truly required information is the E-Mail address to ensure contact. However by using your name/nickname to show what you have added, it is hoped members will feel like joint owners of the site (YourBoro), while their privacy is still respected.
