A Boro Site Owned by Boro Fans |
The Official Boro site and the Evening Gazette are dedicated to voicing the official view of the club. This site aims to give the real heart of the club a voice - Boro Fans.
As a lifelong Boro fan and North Stand RedBook holder myself, I wanted to give other fans the opportunity to have their say on their club. The idea is to build a site which other fans can get involved in and once involved decide how it should be developed.
So this is what I came up with and I hope its OK for a start. There are no banner ads or other adverts on this site, I leave that to the others. This is not about money its about having our say on our club. Therefore all I want is the views and opinions of other Boro fans.
First of all if there is anything you see that is not working or could be done better let me know. If the site is to improve, which I hope it will over time, your feedback is invaluable. So please highlight any problems you have experienced on the site.
Secondly the site needs active members, the more active the members are the more up to date and comprehensive the site will be. In addition I hope this will increase your sense of involvement with the site as I do not see this as a personal website, but a Boro fans website.
Thirdly you can help by suggesting new features/sections. What is missing initially or is there something you always wanted on a Boro site that not been done. I have plenty of thoughts myself but they are my thoughts, which is no good if this is to become your site as much as mine.
Finally of course, if you do think the site is a good idea, let other fans know about it. I will of course be doing the same myself, as well as trying to get good rankings in the search engines and links from other Boro sites.
Boro is your club and this is your site, I hope you like it.
